Tim is a fully registered osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC Registration No. 11763) with a strong sporting background and a deep understanding of the human body. As a former national swimmer and competitor in numerous sports, Tim applies first-hand experience of training and injury management to the demands of working life. He also has a particular interest in nutrition and the role it plays in the body’s ability to maintain healthy function.
Tim has a particular interest in the body’s adaptation to repeated mechanical stress, and in how sustained movement patterns, occupational demands, and training loads can contribute to dysfunction and pain. He recognises that everybody’s needs are specific to their lifestyle and endeavours, and through detailed assessment and examination, he identifies the specific factors contributing to dysfunction on an individual basis.
Tim is keen to help each patient understand why something is happening and what they can do themselves once they leave the treatment room.
Using a variety of techniques â including soft tissue massage, joint manipulation, rehabilitation exercises, and movement retraining â Tim works not only to relieve pain but to optimise function and prevent recurrence. His treatments are individualised, combining clinical expertise with clear guidance so patients feel confident managing their own recovery.
Tim has experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
Tim is also a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, able to provide pre- and post-event therapy to complement your osteopathic treatment.
